Of course, however it's advised that you pass/book your theory test as soon as you feel comfortable to do so. Currently practical test waiting times are long. Without a theory pass certificate, you will not be able to book a practical test.

It is possible to book your theory test on your 17th birthday, providing that you have your provisional licence beforehand. Theory tests expire after 2 years.

Absolutely! All lessons are tailored to your every need, at a pace that suits you. We take a patient approach to all drivers, including those with anxiety and feeling a little apprehensive behind the wheel. Including those with ADHD, autism or additional support needs.

DVSA data shows that the average learner needs 45 hours of professional lessons and 22 hours of private practice. However, this can vary from driver to driver. There is no legal minimum.

Cancellations should be made 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations my be subject to a fee. Of course, in special circumstances it will be at Tom's discretion. You are able to reschedule, depending on availability. Please visit our Terms & Conditions page for further information.

We will provide you with bank details upon initial booking. Payments are due 48 hours before the booked lesson. Failure to make payment may result in the cancellation of your lesson. If you need to make alternative arrangements, please make Tom aware 48 hours in advance of the lesson.

Yes all lessons will be in the Mazda 2, dual-control car. The only exception would be if the car was unable to be used whilst being repaired. In that case, an alternative suitable dual-control vehicle would be arranged where possible. We are able to conduct lessons in your own car, providing that it is fully insured, taxed and safe.

Yes - multiple mock tests can be conducted if necessary. These will guide us to make a formal decision on whether you are prepared to proceed with booking your practical exam.
